We are seeking a talented, experienced and passionate Lead Engineer. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industry experience as a Lead Engineer. Excellent verbal and written communication are paramount. We expect effective communication, a positive attitude, and an inspiring strong work ethic.
Desired Skills:
BS or MS degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
Familiarity with .NET/C#.
Experience with Mobile Development.
Understanding of Enterprise Application Servers, Web Servers and Reverse Proxy Servers.
Understanding of HTTP protocols.
Experience Developing Mobile websites and applications.
Only candidates who are eligible to work in the US without sponsorship or those candidates eligible for a TN visa will be considered. Positions are located in Southern California and San Francisco. Skills/Requirements:
An extensive knowledge of Java and .NET languages.
Experience overseeing a 3-5 person engineering team
Solid understanding of Actionscript 2 and 3.
Experience architecting client-server web applications.
Strong knowledge of front-end UI technologies including: XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Extensive working experience developing web applications in C# or Java
Experience developing SOAP, XML-RPC, and REST web services.
Proficiency working with Relational Databases
Advanced knowledge of cross-platform web browser compatibility and working knowledge of specific browser nuances.
Experience developing and supporting a large scale, high volume transactional systems in a distributed and high availability environment.
Solid understanding of version control (Subversion), issue tracking, release management, and automated build tools
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Ability to work with short development/release cycles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, must be detail oriented with the ability to develop and understand document requirements, physical data models, wireframes and UML diagrams.
Highly self-motivated, leadership experience, ability to take ownership.
