Exposure to the following would be a plus:

- MySQL clustering
- VMware ESX
- Cloud computing
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
The System Administrator will be responsible for rolling out new or existing production systems and servers operated by the client. This position requires a broad range of experience with Linux, networking and large scale deployment.

Skills/Requirements:
5 Years Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP system administration
Strong UNIX scripting capabilities including shell, bash, Perl and Python
Packaging systems for Linux distributions such as RPM
Understand TCP/IP networking including DNS, VIP and network troubleshooting
Apache and MySQL load balancing
E-commerce or portal experience in a large environment with exposure to heavy traffic web sites
MySQL replication experience
Ability to plan, monitor and maintain the internal and external server infrastructure. This includes applying patches, software updates and performing vulnerability assessments of various systems.
Understand security best practices for systems and services
VPN setup and configuration
Experience with SVN source control system
Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios
Organize disk backup and scheduling
Excellent problem solving skills
