Oper Systems Engineer 4 (Solaris/Linux/AIX

This is a first or second or flex shift position providing support for a Data Center non-production environment.

During your shift you will be responding to monitoring alarms, phone calls and pages to provide support and service restoral for non-production servers hosting Banking Applications. The issues addressed will be across the board hardware and Operating systems. In addition you may be expected to carry out Change Requests (, configuration changes etc.) on a scheduled basis.

Shell and/or PERL scripting
Two or more year's production support experience. Ability to coordinate with multiple groups to resolve complex issues. Understanding of multi tier, multiple platform environments, System administration experience Good verbal and written communication skills with particular emphasis on incident management Preferred/desired Skills

SiteMinder
SSH
Performance analysis tools such as HP OpenView
Remedy or similar trouble ticket tracking system
AutoSys, NDM, Net Backup
Performance tuning
Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware problems on HP, SUN, or IBM Platforms

12 month term

Skills/Requirements: 
5-7 years technical background and 3-5 years systems administration experience directly related with Solaris/Linux/AIX/HP-UX server platforms in an enterprise production environment
3 + years experience with 3 or more of the following:
