FreshPlanet is a young social casual game company based in Manhattan.
We are building fun and smart online games (well... at least, we think they are…)
The company is venture-backed and led by a team of internet and game veterans.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with a team of experts in our Manhattan office.

Salary is commensurate with Experience.

Skills/Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience
HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML
Strong back end development skill
Strong knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, indexes, table normalization and database design
Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices
Object oriented design and development background
Previous work in a start-up environment is preferred
BS/MS in CS/CE or significant work experience
Must be able to gather requirements, design, code and test independently
Must be able to work with the team.
Functions/Responsibilites:
You will be involved in the full life cycle development process of the ambitious games FreshPlanet is developing
You will working on the server side of the games (the front side is built in Flash/ActionScript3)
You will work with top game designers, producers, artists and coders
