Description: The successful candidate for this position is required to participate in the development of an enterprise-wide Web application. Responsibilities include the participating in the design and development of Java code and XML for the successful deployment of a Web Service.
Requirements: Individuals that will be considered for this position must be self-motivated and a focused contributor willing to work on customer premises within the area. This person must be a highly motivated individual that can work with a skilled team of Java Developers. As a Developer, the successful candidate must be experienced with common software development life cycle processes and Object-Oriented design and development with the ability to communicate effectively and foster strong customer relationships.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
4+ years of experience with Java, Java Enterprise Edition, and Javascript
Oracle development skills with excellent SQL, PL/SQL, and JDBC programming skills
Graphical user interface (GUI) development skills
Excellent listening, writing, and thinking skills
Knowledge of the following infrastructure systems: C, C++, Perl, PHP, Shell scripting languages, UNIX, Solaris, Linux, TCP/IP, DNS and other Web-based applications
Must be familiar with the Internet and networking concepts underlying the above systems (UNIX, SMTP, POP, DNS, etc.)
Must be able to participate on project teams; doing application analysis, development, and modification
Must be able to write detailed technical designs using proper English grammar and convey those designs verbally
Experience within the Intelligence Community
