Senior Web Developer,

Modis is currently seeking Senior Web Developer for an exciting contract to hire opportunity with our client in the Chicago area.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Senior Web Developer will be working in a team environment to create templates, themes and custom modules for the PHP-based Drupal Content Management system.

Day to day responsibilities will include writing XHTML and CSS code as well as working with jQuery, AJAX and PHP programming.

The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated background in web development using the above technologies with a minimum of 2 years experience with Drupal 6.x. Experience with Flash development is desired.

Please note that candidates must be eligible to convert to full-time employee status after a minimum 6 months without the need for sponsorship

This position is expected to start immediately and last for an initial duration of 6 months. There is a high likelihood of contract extension and /or full time conversion after the initial 6 months.
