Yahoo! is looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join a team developing cutting edge and large scale database systems for advertising. This engineer will be hands-on working very closely with product managers, developers and QA engineers to create and deploy innovative, high-performance and scalable solutions for Yahoo!’s advertising platform.

Skills/Requirements:
Expert level experience in OO programming.
Strong in database programming (PL/SQL, triggers, and stored procedures)
Expertise in dimensional data modeling.
Ability to develop both logical and physical architectures from requirements.
Good knowledge of technology stack in Java
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A strong team player who can be hands-on with creating framework and foundation code.
Ability to solve complex technical problems with simple solutions.
5+ years experience with software development.
BSCS degree or equivalent required.
MSCS a plus.
Functions/Responsibilites:
Develop database components from logical models.
Build middle-tier components for advertising application platform
Analyze business requirement and translate them into design specifications.
Implement next generation of data storage and retrieval solutions using oracle and related database technologies.
Support database solutions and meet the business needs.
Analyze and optimize performance of data storage and retrieval.
Adopt and improve best practices for software development in middle-tier and databases.
